Design
Appearance
Linla is a small girl with fair skin and violet eyes. Her silver hair is cut in a short bob. She has very round, soft features, almost childlike. Generally, she is seen wearing her cleric's robes, which are white and silver in the colors of the Order of the Gauntlet. The robes look like a short dress with a large, A-line skirt and a belt aroudn the waist, as well as extra fabric designs that drape over the skirt. She also wears a long white cape, and short brown boots. She also wears a necklace with charms of multiple death gods hanging around it, including a shard of bone, a dove, a pair of golden scales, a crook and flail, a moonstone, a black dog, and a weeping eye.
Personality
Linla is a silent, nervous young girl. Due to past traumas, she is mostly nonverbal, and tends to avoid interacting with anyone other than Leilrir. She is easily frightened and twitchy. Despite this, she is kind, and wishes to make sure no one else experiences the horrors that she did. She wants to become stronger by following Leilrir and learning how to be a hero like him.
Abilities
Linla has an uncommonly powerful connection to the divine domain of death. Unlike other clerics, she keeps the charms of multiple gods, and while she has been warned to be cautious about calling on too many gods as that may spark jealousy among the pantheon, her magic doesn't seem to suffer for her lack of discretion. In fact, other acolytes have been shocked at the strength of her spells, so much so that that Leilrir often requests that she avoid casting too many large spells for fear that they may burn her up in their divine fury. She can cast simple spells like light without too much effort, and is also able to heal.
Biography
Linla was the victim of a cult, which kidnapped orphan and abandoned children to use as sacrifices in a dark ritual. The cult was raided by the Order of the Gauntlet mere moments before Linla was to be sacrificed, and Leilrir was the one to pull Linla safely off the altar. She was the only survivor, and the experience has left deep marks on her psyche. Since then, she has been utterly attached to Leilrir, viewing him as both her savior and her hope.
