Appearance
Rirn is the oldest and tallest of the group. He has fair skin and long brown hair falling about halfway down his back, bushy brown eyebrows, and bright blue eyes.
Liao Yai is particularly scrawny and appears malnourished and hollow cheeked, with dark circles under his eyes. He has light brown skin, dark green eyes, and blue hair that is partially shaved in a buzz cut except for a small tuft near the front of his head.
Sepheres has brown skin and freckles over her nose and cheeks. The right side of her face has a scar from an acid burn, which is partially covered by a piece of black cloth tied over her face. She has pale grey eyes and thickly curled brown hair that is somewhat tangled from a lack of care.
Felfan is short and round featured with large, floppy pointed ears. He has pale skin and freckles. His eyes are a dark brown, and he has shoulder length, straight black hair that is mostly pulled back from his face.
Thali is slender, with blue-black skin and bright yellow eyes. She has white hair that is pulled mostly into two big buns on top of her head, with two locks left loose to frame her face. She has long, thin pointed ears that stick straight up.
Vaelle is small, round-featured, and plump, with dark brown skin. She has dark auburn hair in tight curls that are partially braided, and warm brown eyes.
Cirin has light brown skin and bright green eyes. He has dark brown hair with wavy bangs that is otherwise cropped quite short.
Personality
Rirn is somewhat anxious even before his imprisonment; he tends to cling to facts and his various bits of knowledge when he's nervous and can come off as a bit of a know-it-all. He cries easily.
Liao Yai is quiet and gentle; often putting on a brave face for others despite his own worries. He's quick to comfort others and is a good listener.
Sepheres is quick to anger, full of righteous fury and easily annoyed.
Felfan is nervous and mostly keeps to himself. He likes to act older and smarter than he actually is.
Thali is generous, jovial, and a bit of a prankster, leaning on jokes even in dark situations.
Vaelle is shy and quiet, often looking for somewhere to hide when she's anxious.
Cirin is a bit reticent and slow to warm up to others.
Years ago, the children were kidnapped by a cult calling themselves The Seekers of Dread, who slowly sacrificed each child in the attempts of attracting the Dark Powers. Linla was the only survivor.
