Appearance
Xaverie is a tall, lanky woman with a somewhat bony figure and angled features. She has long cinnamon brown hair usually pulled into a high ponytail. She has dark brown eyes that sometimes look red in the right light. She wears a pair of black, wire framed glasses. Her skin is rather pale, and she has pointed ears. She is usually seen wearing a black vest over a white dress shirt and long red bowtie. She wears long red pants tucked into tall brown riding boots.
Personality
Xaverie is an introspective, analytic woman who tries her best to keep most of her emotions and thoughts to herself. Though used to working alone and thus being wary of sharing much of herself with others, she is affable and able to make friends easily, if keeping those relationships shallow. She has a serious case of imposter syndrome that she's quite skilled at hiding from others.
Abilities
Since childhood, Xaverie has been able to hear the muffled voices of ghosts and spirits. Though never quite clear enough for her to hear exactly what they're saying, knowing that ghosts are all around her at all times has made her something of an occult expert. She has trained as a bard since her teens, and has skills in casting spells with her fiddle.
Xaverie keeps much of her past hidden from others. As far as she is willing to share, she had a rough childhood, which led her to meeting her mentor, Alanis Davaros from whom she took her surname. She traveled with Alanis for a long time assisting Alanis with her life's mission to find Ravenloft and kill its master, Strahd von Zarovich. After an accident took Alanis's life, Xaverie took on the mission herself, devoting herself to completing Alanis's life's work.
